Addie

Showing her teeth!

Looking cute for the camera!
Addie had been changing by the day. I can't believe how much she talking now. She sings her ABC's and knows some of her letters. We are continue to add new ones. She does great a daycare. I am always amazed when I got to pick her up and they have all these 2 year olds sitting together playing simon says, doing stretches or singing songs. She has made some new friends there too. That is what gets us out the door in the morning: being able to see Miley, Payton or Stacie (her teacher). She is just an amazing little thing. Now if we can just get her to sleep in a bit. :)

Elmo Live

On Saturday we took Addie to see Elmo Live. She loved it. It actually brought tears to my eyes to see her so happy, maybe thats a pregnancy thing, but it was pretty great. She was clapping and dancing to the songs. They split the show up into 2 halves. She did GREAT the first half, but after the intermission she started to get restless. We ended up leaving about 10 minutes earlier. Not bad for Addie, who we all know doesn't sit still for long. After talking to some friends about it they had the same experience with their 2 year old and when 3 their child didn't move through the whole show. The show really was great. They did a great job. We are planning on going next year and this getting seats right on the floor. It was a fun family outing.

Aaron and Macy's Going Away Party

We had a going away party for one of Kirk's good friend Aaron. They are moving to Colorado, so we had some friend and their family over at our place to send them off. Addie made good friend with Aaron and Macy's little guy Gavin. Gavin is one. They are almost exactly 1 year apart. Addie was really cute with him. She would hold his hand and lead him around. We did have a couple issues with sharing her toys, but overall she did pretty well. These are a couple of pictures we took. One of Addie with the boys and then the other of Addie and Gavin. It was a fun night.

New Year's Eve

We spent a family day at the Mall of America for New Year's and what fun it was. Addie LOVED the rides.Unfortunately for Kirk he had to ride since they frown upon pregnant women riding. She is training him in. Kirk is a bit of a scaredy cat when it comes to rides, but not our Addie. The faster the better for her. We also played in Lego land and went to the Rainforest Cafe. Addie was a bit scared of the moving "animals" there. It really was a fun day despite the crowds. We had a blast with her. She is at the most fun age right now. She surprises us everyday. Here are some pictures from the mall.
