Addie has been testing her independence. She wants to do everything on her own. Here is an outfit she picked out and put on all by herself. She was already to head outside to play. It is so fun to watch her little personality come out.

Addie's New Bike
Spring has begun! With the weather being so gorgous and us spending SO much time outside we thought it was time to get a Addie her first bike. Bikes really have come a long way since the trike I had. This one she can pedal and steer, but there is a handle also for us to push and steer. Once she is ready we can take the handle off. She loves it. We have already been on many walks. Oh how I love nice weather.

Easter 2010
What a great Easter we had. Each year as Addie gets older the holidays become more fun. We started the day off with the Easter basket from the Easter bunny, which she was thrilled about not to mention the hunt for eggs. Then we headed over to my aunt and uncles house for Easter. Everyone that knows me I am big on tradition and family get togethers, so I love this. It was great. I love being around my family. Addie is the only youngster and they were so great to her. They had Easter window clings for her to hang up and then an Easter egg hunt all set up outside. She loved it and talked about days after. She even took all her eggs in the bath with her that night. My aunt and uncle also have a cat which Addie has become quite fond of. This was the best cat ever it just sat there and let Addie pet him and throw toys. Above are some pics from the great day. We couldn't have asked for better weather either.
Durango Trip
For my spring break Addie and I went out to Durango to visit my parents. She did awesome on the plane. I was so happy because that has not been the case in the past. We had a blast out there. We went for walks to the park, went to see the big train that goes through town at the Depot (she called it Thomas), went up the mountain to this beautiful lake where I cross country skied and Addie was pulled in the sled by Nanna and Boppa to a spot where we had a picnic. Here are some pics of the trip.
Last night afterschool Addie and I went over to my friend Brandi's house for a playdate. My other good friend, Leigh was there with her two kids too. It was fun. The kids played, we talked. We all ate dinner together, which Addie loved. Then we put the kiddos into pjs to play a little more. This the whole gang right as we were ready to go. The two boys Owen and Cody will be in the same class as Addie. Both will be turing 2 in the next couple of weeks. The girls in the back are Katelyn who is 4 and Kali who is 3. Addie had a blast and starts to jump up and down anytime I say we are going to go play with Kali and Cody, now she is so excited to play with Katelyn and Own too. So fun.
