Baking a Cake for Daddy's Birthday!

Addie loves to cook and bake with mom. Here she is helping to make daddy a birthday cake, a giant chocolate chip cookie. His birthday menu request was my mom's famous chicken wings and Colorado dip with crackers and veggies. It was a fun night.

Bath Time

Kellen loves baths. As soon as the water turns on his legs are kicking and he is smiling. He splashes and plays in the tub. He is going to be a water baby like his sister.

Birthday Party Fun

Addie went to a birthday party for a friend from school. It was really great. They had all these courses set up for the kids to go through. It was at the place where Addie takes her gymnastics and soon to be dance. The top picture is with some of her really close friends from school. They have been together since they were babies.

New Years Day Bowling outing

So for New Years we decided to taking Addie bowling f

or the first time. She had a blast. She was able to roll the bowl down the lane and knock some pins over. She then would come for her hi five. Kirk and I played too. I kicked his butt.....just had to get that in. It is an activity we will be doing again.

So our New Years celebrations have definitely changed since ha

ving kids. This year we stayed home, had a good dinner, put Addie and Kellen's train from Santa together, had popcorn and watched Toy Story 3. Once the kids were in bed Kirk and I watched a movie of our own. Sad to say I did not quite make it to midnight. Anyway, it was a nice evening together as a family.
