Addie's First Dance Recital

So she did it! She was quite the performer. Her is just a snap shot of our little star. I am trying to get the dance part up, but won't let me because it is too long. I will keep working at it. The video here is the final bow when all the acts come on stage. It was really cute. I think Addie actually liked being up on stage with all those people. She did say that she doesn't want to do dance anymore only gymnastics. Luckily the gymnastic levels perform in this show too. The group picture here is Addie with her teacher (Miss Chelsea) and the other dancers. Too cute.

Annie Play

Addie and I had one of our little outings last weekend. I took her to see the play Annie at the Children's Theatre. She was so excited. I can not tell you how many times we have watched the movie Annie in our house. We got there and she was all excited to see the orphanage all set up on stage. She wanted to go play on it. When the play started the first thing she said was "That's not Annie". She truely thought she was going to see the Annie in movie. Daddy Worbucks passed the test though. We got home and she was singing " The sun will come out tomorrow" the rest of the evening. Although the only part she knows is " The sun will come out tomorrow and then we get a repeated tomorrow, tomorrow, tomorrow. Needless to say it is pretty cute. We had a fun girls day out. Love my little sidekick.

Rainy day fun

Yet again another rainy day and the kids are stuck inside. Hopefully this is not a sign of what summer will be like or I am really going to have to get creative. Good thing they have each other.

Mr. Smiles

Kellen is just a happy baby. Even daycare says he is always smiling and crawls over to snuggle with everyone. I just love this little guy. He is such a sweetie.

Kellen is moving more and more

Kellen is really getting around now. He is into everything. He is a whole different story than Addie was. I will defineatly be on my toes. He loves to be whereever his sister is. He is still a momma's guy, which I love. Even with my friends he just snuggles. He is getting so big. I need both my kids to slow down on the growing. It is happening to fast for me.

Happy Easter 2011

Easter actually turned out to be a beautiful day, which was nice after all the icky weather we have been having. We had a nice little day together just us 4. We made a nice dinner and Addie and I made a special Easter dessert. The Easter bunny visited our house and then we were able to spend majority of the day out in the sun. Take a look at some of the fun we had. Hope your Easter was memorable too.

Kellen is on the move and Addie didn't want to be left out.

Well it won't be long and craziness will hit our house if it hasn't already. Kellen has figured out how to move around and he very excited about his new found freedom. I call his crawl the the seated one leg crawl and he moves pretty fast with it. He has also learned how to walk behind a push toy. Addie's video was because she wanted to be on the camera too, to show her great jumping. Jumping on the couch is generally not allowed, but we let it go this one time.
